SACCO Central Kenya continues to demonstrate significant reach across the cooperative sector, supporting millions of Kenyans through its member base.

• Total Member SACCOs: Currently stands at 74, consisting of 72 Deposit-Taking (DT) and 2 Non-Withdrawable (NWDT) SACCOs.
• Asset Base: The total asset base of member SACCOs is valued at KES 902 Billion.
• Member Reach: SCK represents a combined membership of 6.4 Million individuals. Nationally, the SACCO sector supports over 14 million Kenyans.
• Regional Diversity: Membership includes 50 Nairobi-based and 24 rural SACCOs.
• Sectoral Distribution: The member SACCOs are spread across various sectors:
  • Teachers: 21 SACCOs
  • Agricultural/Farmers: 19 SACCOs
  • Government: 16 SACCOs
  • Private Sector: 13 SACCOs
  • Community-Based: 5 SACCOs
